The primary objective of SIYAYA POWER SOLUTIONS (PTY) LTD as an employer is to create an enterprise that will grow into one big family.
To this end and in terms of the Occupational Health & Safety Act 85, of 1993, we place the highest level of
importance on the health and safety of our human resources.
We recognise that the long term sustainability of our business is dependent on our flexibility to meet the changing needs of people and to adopt new technologies. This will call for competence, not only in leadership but also in planning, organizing and controlling these effects on our employees.
The company is thus convinced that an effective health and safety management system constitutes an integral part of this management function, ensuring our people quality of work life and thus motivating them to higher productivity.

PRINCIPLES
SIYAYA POWER SOLUTIONS (PTY) LTD WILL STRIVE TO CONTINUOSLY IMPROVE THE OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH, SAFETY AND ENVIRONMENTAL PERFORMANCE BY ADHERING TO THE FOLLOWING PRINCIPLES :
- Developing and improving programs and procedures to ensue compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
- To protect and promote the health, safety and well being of our workforce.
- To implement and maintain effective risk assessment and risk control programs.
- To implement and maintain occupational health measures, after assessing risks.
- To train on an on-going basis, all employees in matters related to their health and safety.
- To ensure that only competent persons are allowed to perform required functions.
- To design and implement a health and safety plan before each project, that will serve to protect all employees, the public and the environment.
- To comply with other organizations in upholding health and safety in the workplace.
